Wonderful recipe, have made it before! Just wondering — can I make the dough the night before and leave chilled until the next day when I’m ready to bake?

Love these, make them every year. I skip the nut grinding sugar dividing step by buying ground nuts. Learned my lesson the first year about the 2 hour chill time, it IS very important. Thank you for this recipe.

Hi! Are the instructions to grind the almonds with sugar in food processor only necessary if you are using whole almonds? If using almond flour, this step isn’t necessary, correct?
